As a single mother with privileges such as education and resources, the founder realized the stark gap between her life and the struggles of marginalized individuals. This led to the creation of Empower Rising Resilience, with a mission to support abused and disabled women and children. The organization's flagship project, Resilience House, is an eco-friendly shelter on the Kenyan coast that offers safety, dignity, and sustainable living practices to its residents. It aims to empower women and children by nurturing both their physical and spiritual well-being. Beyond providing immediate relief, Empower Rising Resilience is also focused on long-term sustainability, including plans for a local office in Nairobi and a registry for buying and selling goods to stimulate economic growth. This initiative is more than just an organization; it’s a call to action for others to join in making a difference.
